The story of the musical notes

The modern musical notes system was invented in the 16th Century by the Benedict monk Guido D'Arezzo. Initially he named the sounds as "Ut, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si" for an octave, yet eventually the sound "Ut" was replaced with the sound "Do" from the word of "Dominus" (God) as God to be the beginning of the musical scale.

DO - Dominus (God)

RE - Rerum (matter)

MI - Miraculum (miracle)

FA - Familias planetarium (Solar system)

SOL - Solis (Sun)

LA - Lactea via (Milky-way)

SI - Siderae (Celectial sphere)
