The most characteristic albums of 2020

Updated: Mar 3, 2023

2020 will be remembered as the year of the pandemic, that's true, but for many artists the chance to release music regardless of tours or concerts has arisen.

We start with the Argentinian artist Nathy Peluso, who released "Calambre" which showed the versatility of the artist, being Hip-Hop, Salsa and Reggaeton as well as a journey towards self-knowledge.

Bad Bunny gave us one of his best albums "YHLQMDLG" where he made several collaborations with artists such as Myke Towers, Jowell y Randy, Ñengo Flow, Mora, Anuel AA, Kendo Kaponi, Arcangel, Duki, Sech or Daddy Yankee. In this album, you can find a feeling of celebration and joy, and that served in many cases to overcome the quarantine with a smile.

Miley Cirus also released an album and it was a tremendous worldwide success, this time the controversial American artist fused 80s rock and punk with subtle pop, resulting in a work of art that she accompanied with world-class collaborations such as Joan Jett, Billy Idol or Dua Lipa.
