British rock band formed in London in 1968. Led Zeppelin was formed as a four-man band by Jimmy Page on guitar, John Bonham on drums, John Paul Jones on bass guitar and Robert Plant as vocalist.
This group opened a new window to music and combined blues, rock and metal culture in their songs. Their songs, which mixed funk, psychedelic elements, fushion, mysticism, mythology and folk music, were very popular in the 1970s. The group, which has managed to preserve this distinctive style they have created today, still has a large fan base.
