Music: I am What I am

Emma Muscat, since was little started showing skills for dancing, singing and playing musical instruments, which led her to study in the University of Performing arts, where she specialized in piano and began to write her own music. In 2016 and 2017, she released two singles, “Alone” and “Without you”, on her YouTube channel. Although she was born in Malta, she has been building her career in Italy, where she participated in the talent show Amici di Maria de Filippi. Also, Emma entered in: Isle of MTV 2018 and Isle of MTV 2019, besides big star names like Jason Derulo, Hailee Steinfield, Martin Garrix, Ava Max, and some others.
Still in 2018, she debuted the “I need somebody” single and some days later her first album was released - “Moments”, and some months after “Moments Christmas Edition” was also published with covers of Christmas songs. In the same year Emma collaborated with the rapper Shade in the song “Figurati noi”.
In the following years, the artist keep collaborating and releasing songs, such as: “Avec moi”, with Biondo; “Sigarette”, with Junior Cally; “Vicolo Cieco”; “Sangria” with Astol; “Meglio di sera”, with Álvaro de Luna & Astol, this last two, certificated as a gold single. In 2022, Emma released “Out of sight”, and used it to compete in the Malta Song Eurovision contest 2022, where she won with the majority of the votes. But some months later, the artist announced she would replace this song with her new single “I am What I Am”.
Concluding, Emma Muscat will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, with the song “I Am What I Am” to represent Malta.
