Afro Nation Portugal is an annual music festival that is held in Portimão (Portugal). It is a 3 days event founded by Obi Asika and SMADE with the purpose of bringing together the best African artist in Afrobeats, Hip Hop, R&B, dancehall, Amapiano and Afro House. This event not only happens in Portugal, there is also the Afro Nation Puerto Rico, Afro nation U.S., Afro Nation Ghana, and Afro Nation Mexico.
In 2019, it was nominated, by the UK Festival Awards for the category of Best Overseas Festival, and in the same year, the Afro Nation debuted a mixtape Afro Nation, Vol 1 with the participation of a big number of artists.
